In some cases the deck will have 2 of a particular color and number available to lay and either only one will be accessible based on you seeing every third card, or both could be playable though you have to determine which one makes more sense to lay.Be sure to track the playing board to know what you really need & as you flip through the deck be sure you remember if those cards appear in it and where. On some games it is obvious you need a black 8 or a red 9 or some other such card that is clearly important at that stage of the game. You have to play the top card and each of the subsequent 5 cards before you know what the final card in that stack is. The rightmost stack initially starts with 6 cards buried under it.Each time you flip through the reserves you have the opportunity to lay at least 1/3 of the cards if they have a spot on the board they fit.In general it is better to lay cards from the board rather than pulling them from the reserve deck you can flip through.Be cautious before making moves as you can’t easily undo them. This game does not, which makes it more difficult than it would otherwise be.

Sure, one is a guy, but when you’re getting panties flashed in your face you stare first and think later. Here we have not just one shimapan, but two gloriously pink panty shots. Boy, Michiru sure falls a lot.Īyumu and Haruna's shimapan From Haruna Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (Is This a Zombie?) They’re seen when she falls over in school, and when she falls over in the grass outside, and when she falls over at home. Michiru has had a tough life, but that doesn’t stop her from being silly and showing off her charming personality… and her blue striped panties. Michiru's shimapan From Grisaia no Kajitsu (Le Fruit de la Grisaia) It must be a perk of being young and having a big gun.Įclair shows off her shimapan more than once in the series, but nothing beats the spontaneous full-body clothing rippage she suffers live on camera. Francesca somehow gets around wearing nothing but an oversized shirt and striped blue undies, and no one seems to question her. Others don’t even bother wearing pants or a skirt in the first place. Some characters show accidental panty shots. While the original Misaka wears shorts under her skirt (no upskirts for you here!), each of her clones wear striped panties, which makes for some fun games of “find the odd one out.” It’s tough enough to tell identical sisters apart, but what do you do with a couple of clones? Check their underwear, of course. Misaka sisters' shimapan From Toaru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index) but in the case of shimapan, stripes are definitely flattering!Ĭheck out some of the best shimapan moments in anime! The white panty shot is still an anime classic. You can thank Vocaloid’s Miku for popularizing the trend, and making stripes cool again. Striped panties are so popular among anime upskirts and fanservice that they’ve gotten their own special term: shimapan.ĭecorated with horizontal stripes, usually blue and white, these undies are cute but sensible. Luna discovers that she is destined to save Earth from the forces of evil and gives her a broach to transform into Sailor Moon, and asks her to form the Sailor Soldiers, find their princess and protect the "Legendary Silver Crystal." As Usagi matures, she becomes one of the universe's powerful warriors and protects her adopted home planet, Earth, from villains who wish to harm it.There are panty shots, and then there are striped panty shots. She meets Luna who is searching for the Moon Princess. In Sailor Moon, Usagi is an underachieving schoolgirl who lives in Tokyo. She later discovers her birth name, Princess Serenity. She is initially believed to be an Earthling, but is later revealed to be the princess of the moon kingdom Silver Millennium. She is introduced in chapter #1, "Usagi - Sailor Moon", originally published in Japan's Nakayoshi on December 28, 1991, as a carefree schoolgirl who can transform into Sailor Moon, the de facto leader of the Sailor Soldiers. I like for my trees to have lots of lights and since this cage was so small, one pack of lights was perfect for it. But, since it ended up being much smaller than I anticipated, I decided to leave it inside as a small tabletop tree instead. My original plan was to use regular Christmas outdoor lights and place this tree on the front porch. Since my tree was so small, I just used a pack of battery operated string lights. Then, you can start making the tree! Using a string of Christmas lights or battery operated lights, wrap them around the tree over and over until it is covered. I just continued to wrap it around and around until it was secure and set. To do this, I secured them all at the top of the tree with some wired twine. The first step is to attach all the posts of the tomato cage together at the top so it resembles more of a Christmas tree shape. I go pretty slow through this process because I want to make sure that students really understand each ANT Buddy, what they do, and how their personal examples (that they wrote down) may fit with each ANT Buddy description. Then, I’ll move on to teaching the ANT Buddies. What are some things you might do when you’re thinking these things?.How do you feel when you think these things?.What is typically happening when these thoughts pop up?. What are some of the thoughts that you wrote down? Are they positive? Negative? Neutral?.Once they have their thoughts written down discuss: Doesn’t matter – just write them as they come! They can do this on a blank sheet of paper or by using the thought bubble page. They can be positive, negative, neutral or somewhere in between. I ask students to write down as many thoughts as they can “think” of in that time. I might put some quiet music on in the background, but it totally depends on the student(s) and what they want. The first thing I do after watching the video is have students sit with their thoughts for 5-10 minutes. Once you have watched the video, consider introducing your students to each of the ANT Buddies by using some of the ideas below!Įeek! I’m so excited to introduce you all to the ANT Buddies! My students have really clicked with these little dudes, and I hope that yours will too! Visit the Sketches Resource Collection page for this FREE download!Īren’t they cute?! Okay, maybe using the word “cute” to describe bugs that can cause problems for our students isn’t the best word…but it HAS been fun teaching them to the kids! The video gives a short introduction to what ANTs are. The concepts outlined in this video and corresponding activities lay the foundation for the work you will do with the ANT Buddies! Will they accept the thought as fact? Or will they stop, catch and question the thought to find the truth?įirst and foremost, if you haven’t taught The Triangle to your students, I would 100% start there before teaching the ANT Buddies. It normalizes the idea that ANTs happen for everyone and that they have the power to choose what to do when the ANT Buddies come around. Teaching students about the different types of distorted thinking provides them with a sense of control and power when the ANT Buddies start to swarm. While this may seem like a lot as well, once students get to know each ANT Buddy, they also get to know which ones they use the most often! Some sources will reference as many as 200 different distortion types (yikes!), but I have focused on 15 that seem to be the most common among the students I work with. I have been using the Automatic Negative Thoughts video and ANT Buddies to help my students understand how our mind can play tricks on us to convince us of something that isn’t actually true. And thus, the ANT downward spiral is formed. Getting stuck with ANTs can then create a negative thinking pattern, which then creates a negative thinking neural pathway. Unfortunately, our imagination can sometimes get the best of us – making us get stuck in negative thought patterns. You can then use this information to fix problems as they come up (or before), and also learn from mistakes. Your brain uses ANTs to imagine potenital threats and problems. ANTs are completely normal, and they actually do serve a purpose.Īt their core, ANTs are around to keep you safe. The term for this is, Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs), which was coined by Dr. The problem is, many of our thoughts are negative and seem to just pop up out of nowhere. CDex can be obtained free from the official website here: CD1's second audio track is blank and isn't needed.įor the purpose of this guide I will be using CDex for Windows. If you are using a game that requires CD Audio tracks, you will need to have the CD audio tracks from both CDs in the folder with the game. The same rule counts for Discworld 2's english.smp, english.txt and english.idx files. Once you have copied the file from CD1, rename the file to "speech1.clu", then, once you have copied the one from CD2, rename that one "speech2.clu".īroken Sword 2 also has a "music.clu" on each CD which will similarly need renamed to "music1.clu" and "music2.clu". Using Broken Sword 1 as an example, both CD's contain a file called "speech.clu" with completely different contents. ScummVM needs help defining the two which means a couple of simple filename changes. Sometimes both CD's have files with the same name, but with different contents. The Datafiles list will say if you have to do differently. In such cases it doesn't matter whether you keep the version from CD1 or CD2. Sometimes both CD's have files with the same name, and the same contents. For the purpose of this guide I will concentrate on the Curse of Monkey Island, however I cover special cases like Broken Sword 1 & 2 / Discworld 2 renaming and will cover 7th Guest CDDA tracks in the future. I have decided to try and make a guide in this topic with the aim of cutting down on the amount of questions being asked. Examples of such games are The Curse of Monkey Island, Broken Sword 1 & 2, Discworld 2 and the 7th Guest. I have noticed many people asking for help regarding multiple CD games. Can you imagine dying from the plague and the last thing you see is one of these terrifying figures looming over you? It was basically an early respirator/gas mask, filled with straw, herbs and spices, scented things to keep the stench of death from the good doctor’s nose. The strange beak was actually functional. The plague doctor’s uniform was basically an early version of a hazmat suit, with a great full-length thick leather coat, a mask with glass eye openings, and a big, broad hat. Plague doctors were employed in Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries to treat patients of the bubonic plague and they actually wore the terrifying-looking costume you see in engravings and paintings. I have always been fascinated by the concept of the plague doctor, an actual historical figure, bird-beaked helmet and all. Because there are more cards, there are more sequencing opportunities making these games easier, but longer. There are other variations where you can play with two decks called Double Klondike Turn 3 and three decks called Triple Klondike Turn 3. For example, you can play with two or three passes through the stock pile, which make the game more challenging. In other variations you can play with limits. This means once all cards are moved to the waste, you move them back to the stock pile unlimited times. You can play with no limits on the number of passes through the stock pile, which is the default version of our game. What are other variations of Klondike Turn 3? Turn 1, on the other hand, has a win rate of 33.0%. Of those, 158,382 were won, making the odds of winning 11.1%. We looked at a sample of 1,429,916 random games played. In Turn 3, you can only play every third card dealt from the stock pile, limiting your options and naturally making the game harder. In Turn 1, you have the option to play every card from the stock pile. What game is harder between Turn 1 and Turn 3? Learn how to play Klondike Solitaire here, or watch our instructional video. You do this by dispensing 3 cards from the stock pile at a time, and using the tableau to sequence and free up cards to place in the foundation. The goal is to move all 52 cards into 4 foundation piles by suit from Ace to King in descending order. Once that is played, you can you can play the next card of the 3 that have been dealt. Only the top card of the 3 can be played. Turn 3 is a version of Klondike Solitaire where 3 cards are drawn from the stock pile at once. Stock Pile Drawing: Players can draw three cards from the stock pile, revealing three cards at a time. This step-by-step process builds the foundation piles in ascending order. Foundation Pile Movement: A card can be moved from a tableau pile to a foundation pile if it is one higher than the top card of the corresponding suit's foundation pile. This alternating color pattern ensures a well-structured arrangement of cards. Tableau Pile Movement: A card can be moved from one tableau pile to another if it is one lower than the top card of the destination pile and of the opposite suit.Players can maneuver cards to achieve the game's goal by employing a combination of strategic moves: Each foundation pile must be constructed in ascending order, starting with the ace and ending with the king. The ultimate objective of Klondike Solitaire Turn 3 remains unchanged: to meticulously transfer all cards from the tableau piles to the four foundation piles, one for each suit – hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. The remaining cards form the stock pile, which serves as a reservoir of cards to be drawn during gameplay. The top card of each tableau pile is revealed, providing the foundation for strategic card movements. The game commences with the standard 52-card deck, shuffled and dealt face down into seven tableau piles, firts containing one card, the second two card, the third tableau pile containing three cards, etc. |
